Den relativt nye Barbera d’Alba vingård ligger i Perno i Monforte d’Alba på en skråning vendt mod Castiglione Falleto. Den sandede og kalkholdige jordkombination og sene høst giver muligheden for en velbalanceret syre. Det er en kraftig, frugtagtig vin med en intens rød farve og fyldig smag. Serveres til for- og hovedretter samt oste.
