Fontissimo is an IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) that was born out of Conrad Schmitt's passion for oak structured and fruity wines. Papa’s Best, as we call it, is matured for up to 20 months in new French oak barriques and is a blend of around 65% Sangiovese and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. We are slowly starting to integrate the Merlot into this assemblage.

Color: deep purple, ruby red
Nose: blackcurrants with a hint of vanilla, black cherry, chocolate, licorice
Taste: juicy, ripe black fruit, black cherry, currants, creamy finish
